Persidangan Meja Bulat Majlis Ketua-Ketua Penyelaras E-Pembelajaran IPTA Malaysia (MEIPTA) Ke-36 (Bil. 2/2018) yang akan diadakan seperti berikut:

Tempat : Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur
Mesyuarat kali ini dipengerusikan oleh PM Dr. Wan Zuhainis (UPM) menggantikan PM Dr. Alyani yang menjalani sabatikal perkhidmatan selama sembilan bulan.
Aktiviti MEIPTA bermula dengan lawatan enam ruang pembelajaran (learning spaces) bermula dengan CUBE@FSKTM UM.
Diikuti oleh ruang pembelajaran di fakulti kejuruteraan.
Ruang pembelajaran di sekolah pasca siswazah ilmu perniaagan amat menarik sekali contoh seperti Marketing Lab yang merekod tingkah laku pelajar semasa scenario dunia perniagaan di hadapi dan bagaimana mereka menghadapi dan mendapatkan penyelesaian.
Ruang trading juga memberikan pelajar update terkini Bloomberg.
Seterusnya lawatan ke ruang pembelajaran di sekolah pengajian agama Islam.
Collaborative learning area (CoLA) sering disalah tafsirkan sebagai Cost of Living Allowance 😃
Lawatan berakhir di ruang pembelajaran Fakulti Pendidikan UM.

MEIPTA is proud to present The Social Learning Conference 2017, our first conference collaboration with OpenLearning. The conference will be held at The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia from 27th to 28th of November 2017.
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to invite all academics to become part of this community by participating and attending this conference. This year’s conference has an exciting line-up of experts from the Education field who will discuss and highlight a number of four main themes within the umbrella topics of social constructivism in computer supported collaborative learning, such as:
Community, Contribution & Connectedness
Fostering communities of practice, designing for social presence, and informing effective online facilitation.
Beyond Content & Quizzes
Moving beyond content transmission and testing towards creating online learning environments for active learning, co-construction of knowledge, and social constructivism.
Behavioural Learning Analytics
Using analytics to analyse student interaction, and to inform design, effective online facilitation, and tools for self-regulation. It may also encompass designing analytics to effectively support academic research.
Rethinking Assessment
Moving towards authentic assessment and documenting online learning experiences in e-portfolios.

Dr. Prof. Grainne Conole (University of Leicester, UK)
Prof. Peter Reimann (University of Sydney, AUS)
Dr. Prof. Mahnez Moallem (‎University of North Carolina, USA)
The conference will be a good opportunity for highlighting the new results and directions of the applied Social Learning theory. Papers are invited from individuals in response to the major conference themes outlined above. The deadline for submitting an abstract is 15th September 2017.
